Esta \u00e9 a conclus\u00e3o de um estudo apresentado pelo Insurance Institute For Highway Safety (IIHS), instituto que faz an\u00e1lises relacionadas \u00e0 seguran\u00e7a nos EUA.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Os dados de testes de colis\u00e3o realizados pelo IIHS e de acidentes reais serviram de base para o estudo. O instituto comparou os ferimentos sofridos por motoristas em carros com e sem airbag para joelho.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nos acidentes reais, os ve\u00edculos com o sistema apresentaram prote\u00e7\u00e3o levemente superior aos que n\u00e3o tinham o item. Nas simula\u00e7\u00f5es, n\u00e3o houve efetividade do dispositivo na prote\u00e7\u00e3o aos joelhos. Em alguns casos, o sistema at\u00e9 aumentou levemente o risco de ferimentos na perna. Em contrapartida, o recurso ajudou a mitigar les\u00f5es na cabe\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Propaganda<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O Latin NCAP, \u00f3rg\u00e3o que realiza testes de colis\u00e3o com carros vendidos na Am\u00e9rica Latina, acusou a Fiat e a Renault de anunciarem em seus sites modelos de airbags que n\u00e3o eram oferecidos no Cronos e no Kwid, respectivamente.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A marca francesa informou que as imagens citadas n\u00e3o est\u00e3o na p\u00e1gina da empresa no Brasil \u2013 apenas na Argentina e Col\u00f4mbia. J\u00e1 a Fiat retirou as fotos do ar para an\u00e1lise.
